I got my new calling today. I am a little nervous. I am in my first presidency ever and it just happens to be primary, where I have spent the least amount of time in callings. I am also a little worried I won't be the nice one. I already had to get upset at one class today.
But I am also a little excited. I want to help those children feel the spirit and I love the ladies I am serving with. Also eternally grateful I am not the president or secretary and just the second counselor. Here goes a whole new learning experience.

you will be awesome. I can already see how your creativity will help the kids and those you serve with thrive in the gospel while having fun. I loved being in the primary presidency.(don't get me wrong I love YW too) I learned so much from those little ones. Alma 32:23
you will be great, i too was just called to be the 1st couns. but our ward is brand new, so startong from scratch is a while new ball game!! who are you serving with?
I was always the bad guy of the presidency.
You will love it and have a god time. It is super hard but so worth it. I remember from years ago being at a stake meeting and the stake primary pres said to always remember to do your best to invite the spirit into sharing time to a,ways try to teach a gospel principle and back it with a scripture because there are more kids than you think that the lessons taught in primary is the only time they get taught anything. It's not being done in the home as much as it should. That always stuck with me and I always felt the weight of it every time I taught and when I teach now when I sub or if I'm teaching in yws.
