Wow. Help ME!

I am only on day 3 of a two week break with my kids and I am not sure they are going to survive the rest of the week. Either they are going to kill each other with their constant squabbles or I am going to enter the funny farm.

Remember when our Moms used to say "All I want for Mother's Day is for everyone to get along."
Remember how we thought she wasn't serious. Oh she was serious and I bet all you women out there with more than one child know exactly what she meant.

I am sorry I had to vent for a moment. I am trying to think of ways to entertain kids when the gale force wind is arctic and and rain and storminess is on its way even to St. George, which was my one escape route. Today desperate for a moment of relief from Isaac whining I went outside in the ridiculous wind and played catch with my boy. I had to jump out of the way of a few nasty blowing tumbleweeds, but I think he had fun. Tomorrow is movie day. So we will see how that goes. If any of you see me wandering the streets a little crazy tomorrow just carefully lead me back home.
I am half-joking.

Oh, I am so sorry. I have told Cameron and Ashley that if they keep fighting they won't be a loud to play with friends only each other and when they can get along and be nice to each other than they can play with friends. I have even grounded them and they can only play with each other. It is amazing how well they are trying to get along.

You could have a cooking day. Teach them how to cook something? Let them choose within reason. My kids love that.

Good luck. We have spring break next month. I am actually looking forward to the break.

Two weeks WOW! I really have no advice there. My kids rarely and I stress "RARELY" get along. Your a good mom to go out and play with Isaac in this horrible weather. I hate the wind. I've been cussing it for the past three days now.

I hate when the kids are off for so long. Good luck is all I can say. that is why we are taking off for Texas for our Spring break. I told Clay I couldn't handle all 5 kids home for a week by myself. Thankfully our summer is pretty full as well. It's all about signing them up for as many things as I can to keep them busy, for my sanity and thiers!

You can do that kind of stuff you just have to have the sports cartridge. Unfortunately, Cricut made it so they have a billion different cartridges to buy and they have everything separate to buy. Plus each cartridge is 50-80$. So I don't have a lot of them. They have a sports one but it is one of the very expensive ones I haven't bought.

I can tell when Isaac is on break because Daelan gets more phone calls than me! :-) If my poor son wasn't so overscheduled (or grounded with extra chores) lately, he could possibly drag Isaac down here to play and get at least one off your hands!

He actually fought with J.R. today about going snowboarding because he wanted to play when Isaac called, but being the cruel parents we are, we forced him to snowboard at Brian Head as it is likely the last time they will be going this season. I do apologize.
